Enabling Responsible Communications
After many years in marketing within Technology vendors and agencies, we were driven by the desire to make more of a difference to how those organisations connect with their audience.
Our feeling was that that there was no real connection and communication was decidedly one-way - projecting the vendors' agenda to the audience - i.e. there was no effective information flow from the market to the vendors.
That meant the vendors had no true insight concerning the audience's requirements, priorities or concerns plus there was no understanding of how to communicate, when to communicate, what to communicate - too much marketing communication was frankly shooting in the dark.
On top of that, we felt that there was no honesty in managing such issues as references - a prospective purchaser often needs unbiased input on the quality of the product, on the integrity of the vendor and on such issues as hidden costs, timescales, pitfalls and best practice when it comes to implementation.
We then realised there was a general need for people to connect - for mutual benefit - with others for a variety of reasons.
And so was born Oliver Searle & Partners - dedicated to enabling business and technology professionals to achieve insightful connections.
